LAHFMy name is Darryl Bullock and I am the founder of Kids LAHF. At Kids LAHF, we are introducing youth enrichment activity clubs to families and organizations in the Greater Boston area. Our Activity clubs are mobile enrichment workshops offering unique, safe and positive opportunities to Learn And Have Fun through play and exploration. In addition to learning and having fun, Kids LAHF workshops are designed to promote cognitive development, enhance literacy skills, foster positive social engagement, encourage self-reflection and increase environmental and multicultural awareness.Workshops: Picture-It, An introduction to digital Storytelling: Using the components of the National Geographic Explorer Mindset and a point and shoot digital camera, youth play indoor/outdoor games and activities, explore their environment, learn basic digital photography concepts, take fun pictures and create a portfolio to take home.(Cameras are provided) This workshop run Monday through Thursday. Fee: $100.00 Cooks w/Tales: Interactive storytelling, reading and music (song and dance), alongside learning basic kitchen ideas about tasty snacks from nature and different cultures. LAHFMy name is Darryl Bullock and I am the founder of Kids LAHF. At Kids LAHF, we are introducing youth enrichment activity clubs to families and organizations in the Greater Boston area. Our Activity clubs are mobile enrichment workshops offering unique, safe and positive opportunities to Learn And Have Fun through play and exploration. In addition to learning and having fun, Kids LAHF workshops are designed to promote cognitive development, enhance literacy skills, foster positive social engagement, encourage self-reflection and increase environmental and multicultural awareness.Workshops: Picture-It, An introduction to digital Storytelling: Using the components of the National Geographic Explorer Mindset and a point and shoot digital camera, youth play indoor/outdoor games and activities, explore their environment, learn basic digital photography concepts, take fun pictures and create a portfolio to take home.(Cameras are provided) This workshop run Monday through Thursday. Fee: $100.00 Cooks w/Tales: Interactive storytelling, reading and music (song and dance), alongside learning basic kitchen ideas about tasty snacks from nature and different cultures. This workshop meets on Monday or Wednesday only. Fee: $55.00 Crafty Readers: This portion promotes dreams and fantasy and introduces nature and different cultures through games, music and stories. Kids will get to use their creativity to make fun arts and crafts and create their own fantasy stories.
