Kid Care Afterschool is Full for 2024-25. We are not accepting anymore registrations for the program or waitlist.
Kid Care Afterschool, is held at our brand new location, formerly the Parmenter School (17 Irving Street). Children will have time to play different exciting sports and games, spend time outside and enjoy the recently renovated playground. Open-ended arts & crafts, dramatic play, music activities and science experiments are all part of the curriculum.
Transportation is provided and included in the tuition.
Our program will be split into 3 different age groups: K & 1, 2 & 3, 4 & 5. Throughout the day, there will be opportunities for the kids to have a chance to mingle with other age groups to play and create together.
Arlington Kid Care, which is licensed by the Department of Early Education and Care, follows the Arlington Public School calendar with the following exceptions: it is not open when school closes at mid-day for a vacation period or closes early because of bad weather. Early release days are included as long as you are registered for the respective day.
General Information
- We accept students entering grades K-5.
- Transportation is provided from all Arlington Public Schools and included in the tuition.
- We offer 2 - 5 days per week options. (There is a 2-day minimum.)
- The program begins the first day of the school year and is not in session when Arlington Public Schools are closed. We operate from the end of the school day (including early release days) until 5:45 pm.
- Students from all grades will do some activities together.
- Registration is for the entire year.

Payment and Billing Policies
Please review our Fees, Billing and Payment Policies section (SEE LINK BELOW) prior to registering for information on fees and cancellation/dropping days policies. Tuition and fees charged are non-refundable.
Waitlist Information
We offer 2 waitlists. One waitlist is for families who have registered for at least 2 days but need additional days. The other waitlist is for families who have not registered for ANY days. Both waitlists require you to pay the enrollment fee. Returning families have access to the waitlists starting 4/1/24. New families will be placed on the waitlist as needed.
